Teaching Online Collaboration

Group work is not something students are generally excited about. They are concerned their grade will be negatively affected by group members who don't do their part of the project. They're also annoyed that group members who don't participate get the same good grade that one person in the group worked hard for. Below is a PowerPoint with script explaining how to collaborate online successfully. The group assignment is unique to an ETC305 assignment. However, the images and ideas may serve as a spring board from which you can tailor your assignment without starting from scratch. If you'd like Torria Bond to create specific "how-to" images for your context, just ask! The narration was done a free account at Brainshark.Com
